Our project envisions a terraced, food-centric hub that fosters student resilience and redefines building performance through a thermodynamic, "systemless design" inspired by the rice terraces of the Philippines. This space brings together diverse global food cultures, creating microclimates for locally grown produce and international culinary traditions. Centered on the principles of zero carbon, zero water, zero energy, and zero building systems, the hub promotes sustainability while offering students a unique opportunity to engage with fresh, hard-to-find produce and cultural exchange, enriching the university community.
