Communication Station transforms the weekly come-and-go farmer markets into a vibrant community hub. Following the form and logistic of farmers’ store setup, this mobile station operates during market hours and seamlessly moves when not in use. The specifically angled red windows encourage “awkward” eye contact, fostering conversations and community-building. The success led to invitations for the Communication Station to exhibit at various events up north, extending its impact beyond the market setting.
